Chyna III

I've toned down the intensity of color and detail in the distant hills and brightened the water to reflect the tones in the sky. Then I refined the shapes in the dress and hair and skin to try and round them out. I think it's going in the right direction, but still afraid I'm getting too fussy. Maybe just an hour or so more and I'm gonna call this one.

Hi Mr "G". I like what you've done in #3. My "problems" with a painting are similar. It was interesting to me to see the progression and what you did. :-) If you don't mind a suggestion? Cynna III's skirt appears to be blown by a strong breeze but her hair is "still". If I were working on this I would see if I could get her hair blown a little more from right to left. BUT I'm hardly one to give advice!

I enjoy your works. Good stuff!
