This is one of the palm trees in Golden Gate Park by the Conservatory. I certainly succeeded in keeping the back and middle grounds loose and out of focus, but so is the foreground which kinda destroys the balance.
I had edited out the person in the red shirt, but a visitor to my studio insisted I put him back in. I'll have to do something about discouraging visitors while I'm painting. Ahem.
