Gringo! I have always enjoyed the glass series and I must say that they are much more loose than the palm painting. They also don't seem to translate as well into digital images and look much better in person than on a display. Keep the looseness man! Don't let the study of painting interfere with the joy of pushing around greasy blobs of color!
